Earlier this year, Austin Simply Fit, Austin Pets Alive!, and Yard Bar got together with one burning question “What if we could do a fitness event to bring more exposure to APA! and get puppies adopted?”… and from that Pull for Paws was born.
Come to Pull for Paws on November 9, 2019 to showcase your deadlift strength and help give dogs (and cats) another chance at finding their fur-ever homes. This is a donation-based event. The recommended donation for participation in the deadlift event is $25. This is a non-sanctioned deadlift event which means no singlet necessary (unless you want to wear it).
This is a great event for the whole family, parents and children a like. You do not need to be an experienced lifter to participate in the deadlift portion of the event. Some of Austin Simply Fit’s highly skilled trainers and coaches will be on site to help participants under stand the flow of the event, and be resource for support.
In addition to the deadlifting, there will be a dog adoption station, kissing and photo booth as well as other vendors and give aways throughout the afternoon.
This event will be capped at 50 lifters. This event will be held outdoors at Yard Bar.
While the event is non-sanctioned, Austin Simply Fit will employ the deadlift Revolution Power Lifting’s deadlift standards to ensure safety and consistency across the lifts.
Spectators are welcome: $10 or a donation (blankets, collars, dog food, toys, etc…) for Austin Pets Alive! at the gate to see the contest.
Please direct all questions about the event to Jen Andrew from Austin Simply Fit at the email: email@example.com.
