To help keep our rescue’s lifesaving mission going, we are holding our largest fundraising event of the year at Top Golf in Austin on Sunday, November 11, 2018 from 3 – 6 PM.
Guests will have access to 14 golfing bays, a private bar, with FREE Heineken and Dos Equis beer, a heavy appetizer buffet and reserved event space. A tournament ambassador will guide guests through a few rounds of golf, much like an outdoor golf tournament, with great prizes. We will also have a silent auction with lots of fabulous goodies, including a few vacation getaways.
The tickets are only $50! That’s quite a deal for a great time!

Lucky Lab Rescue and Adoption is an all-volunteer, 501(c)3, nonprofit, rescue organization whose mission is to reduce the euthanasia rates and inhumane treatment of abandoned Labs and lab mixes (and we are pretty open to what we call a “lab mix”) by finding them loving, forever homes. In Texas alone over the last four years, we have saved nearly 4,000 dogs from shelters in the Lone Star State.
When lucky Labs come into Lucky Lab Rescue, they are immediately vetted with vaccinations, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and wormed for internal parasites.
We also pay to treat every dog for medical conditions they have. This ranges from heartworm treatment to orthopedic surgery, even hospitalization for dogs who are seriously ill. All dogs receive complete veterinary care before they are adopted out.
This is expensive and it’s why we need your help. The cost of treating a dog for heartworm averages about $400. Orthopedic surgeries range from $1500 to $4500. Hospitalization for a puppy, or litters of puppies, suffering from Parvo or Distemper can range from $1000-$5000.
These costs add up and the bills often cripple our nonprofit rescue from saving more dogs.
