Wondering why we’re fundraising?
This year, Greyhound Rescue Austin took in 15 Greyhounds from the Canidrome in Macau, China, while working to re-home Greyhounds from tracks here in the US. With the help of volunteers and donors, we’ve been able to bring the hounds back to health and work on finding loving homes for their well-deserved retirement – but our work isn’t over!
Our Holiday Auction and fundraising dollars will support the much needed ongoing veterinary care, physical rehabilitation, training, nourishing food, and shelter these hounds deserve after a life of hard work.
