#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving. Held the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday, this world-wide social media phenomenon that encourages giving and spurs gifts to those who might not otherwise donate to causes. Last year, 3.6 million gifts totaling over $400 million worldwide was raised and nearly $1 billion since GivingTuesday began in 2012.
