On my way to lunch today, I ran into two members of ASPCA (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®). My interaction with the two of them (Miss Bridget and “The guy in training” 😉) inspired me to write this post.

ASPCA’s mission is “to provide effective means for the prevention of cruelty to animals throughout the United States.” They specialize in animal rescue, animal placement, and animal protection. These heroes rescue animals from Puppy Mills, Dogfighting (who in the world would do this!? 😡 ), and animal hoarders and help them rehabilitate and find homes.

It saddens my heart knowing there are people capable of such horrors. Thankfully, we also have a lot of good people with hearts of gold who dedicate their lives to protect, care, and love. Thank you, ASPCA for all you do for the animals!

If you want to help ASPCA fight the good fight, there are multiple ways you can be involved and help. Check out their website to find ways you can give.
